Strategic Roadmap Towards Production
Phase I – Exploration (0–6 Months)
This phase focuses on establishing the geological potential, resource quality, and economic feasibility of the project before large-scale investment in mining and processing.
Key Activities
Detailed Geological Mapping
- Comprehensive mapping of lithology, structures, and mineralized zones across the PL area
- Special attention to continuity of graphite veins and structural controls.
Trenching & Channel Sampling
- Surface trenches to expose veins, confirm width and grade
- Channel samples to provide representative assay data
Core Drilling Program
- Diamond core drilling along strike and depth to evaluate thickness, continuity, and grade distribution
- Data will be used to create a 3D geological model
Resource Estimation
- Calculation of ore reserves and resources as per international standards.
- Determination of in-situ tonnage and graphite content
Preliminary Feasibility Studies
- Mining Study: Optimal pit design and mine scheduling.
- Metallurgical Testing: Flotation test work to establish achievable concentrate grade (target 95%+ fixed carbon).
- Financial Assessment: Preliminary CAPEX, OPEX, and economic indicators (NPV, IRR, payback period).
Outcome
- A bankable resource statement and detailed feasibility report, which will serve as the foundation for financing and construction decisions.
Strategic Roadmap Towards Production
Phase II – Mining & Processing (Year 1–2)
Once the resource base is confirmed, the project transitions into operational development
Key Activities
Open-Pit Mine Development
- Stripping of overburden, mine infrastructure setup (haul roads, dewatering, mine office)
- Production ramp-up aligned with processing plant commissioning
Construction of 200 TPD Graphite Processing Plant
- Crushing & Grinding: To liberate graphite flakes from host rock
- Flotation Circuit: To achieve target concentrate grade (≥95% fixed carbon)
- Drying & Screening: To produce market-ready flake graphite concentrate
Supporting Infrastructure
- Power supply (grid or captive generator/solar hybrid)
- Water supply and tailings management system
- Site facilities (lab, warehouse, staff housing if required)
Sales & Export Logistics
- Long-term offtake agreements with traders or battery material suppliers
- Transport route optimization (mine-to-port logistics plan)
Outcome
- Commencement of commercial production of high-grade flake graphite concentrate for export markets (Europe, Asia)
- Generation of first cash flows, enabling reinvestment into Phase III expansion
Strategic Roadmap Towards Production
Phase III – Expansion & Diversification (Year 3 Onwards)
This phase focuses on growth, vertical integration, and diversification into other critical minerals.
Key Activities
Nickel & Cobalt Exploration
- Geochemical Sampling & Drilling: To define nickel and cobalt resources
Processing Plant Expansion
- Capacity increase from 200 TPD → 400 TPD to scale production and meet growing market demand
- Addition of advanced process control systems to improve recovery rates
Downstream Beneficiation
- Installation of value-added facilities for spherical graphite and battery anode materials. This captures higher margins by supplying directly to battery manufacturers
Sustainability & ESG Measures
- Implementation of solar or hybrid renewable energy systems to lower carbon footprint
- Strong local community engagement and CSR programs
Outcome
- Transformation into a fully integrated graphite producer and supplier of battery-grade materials, aligning with global EV supply chain requirements
- Opportunity to monetize nickel and cobalt deposits, further diversifying revenue streams
